the reported version of a server software is not necessarily indicative of it being vulnerable to an exploit or not, the software may have had a fix backported or had been deployed in a configuration where the vulnerability wasnβt relevant.the reported version of a server software is not necessarily indicative of it being vulnerable to an exploit or not, the software may have had a fix backported or had been deployed in a configuration where the vulnerability wasnβt relevant.
reporting something based on just a version string and writing a clickbait article about how the person ignored you is just shitty behavior

What really frustrates me about Wayland is we're replacing an old system with lots of structural problems with a new system with lots of structural problems, and when it comes down to it X and Wayland are problemy for the same reason: They both farm ou...@matt yes i do not personally know the specifics as the toolkits deal with AT-SPI for me. my point is that itβs not part of X11, but clearly people think it is.

that someone is trying to improve on this by integrating screen reader hints and other accessibility features into wayland itself is an improvement over X11.

to be clear when i say that xlibre is unsuitable for adoption in *any* distribution, i am talking about serious ones which provide stability and security guarantees.just going to say that before some troll goes and does the thing and then says i am "wrong"

obviously anyone can go do a run through the LFS book and use XLibre in place of traditional X when building their own distribution

I don't think a display server needs to support this, and it is most likely best left to something more suited for the purpose of network extension.
