3D is kinda cool in how much more embodied in a virtual space you can feel but as a 2D game designer coming to it I find the artistic process incredibly frustrating.

I wonder which one is the more ambitious undertaking: making a tarot deck or making a complete General MIDI instrument library.

@aeva I reckon you should race them! But with extreme limitations.
Tarot deck:
1x2 pixel art, pico8 palette
GM instrument library:
1 osc, square sine or sawtooth, 1 ADSR for volume
