Is there a guide somewhere on how to properly upload a music album to the Internet Archive? I've read about the basic stuff but I'd like to also add more stuff besides the music and cover: a scan of the booklet/back/spine as well as stuff like CUE/TOC files. Basically everything that's needed to preserve it entirely.
One of the side-effects of the AI bubble is that we stopped talking about alternative solutions to computing problems. Everything needs to be solved with "AI" - meaning an LLM - and nobody stops and asks if there is an alternative. This drives me mad because LLMs are not only unreliable, but also shockingly inefficient. And I'm positive that for most tasks there *is* an alternative algorithmic solution that is more reliable and less expensive.
Today my wife showed me the result of a search on her phone: she was looking for something very specific in her field and Google returned an "AI" summary which was not only wrong but contained a patently false claim. This was about historical information, so the answer contained an event that *never happened*. This is an aspect of confabulations I hadn't considered, can you imagine how much damage it will do? And at a time in which our historical record is already under attack.
