Celebrating my 50th birthday today by remembering when my twin and I were small.When I was small, I would spend hours under the backyard willow tree hiding from everyone so I could play pretend in private, I spoke almost exclusively in echolalia, and I wrote little stories on paper napkins when I couldn't get to the library for a new sack of books.
