Met this champ on the trail yesterday. It sat perfectly still while I took pics. I don’t know what type it is, maybe one of you experts can tell? I’m looking at the ODFW frog page and it looks a bit like the Cascades frog (yay native!) and a bit like an American bullfrog (boo invasive!).

This is a question for the younger adults.@futurebird I’m not in the requested age range but:
Around WWII there was cultural expectation to marry and have kids, and gov funding made it possible. Their hippy kids married and had kids, but then realized it was a bummer, man, plus now they needed two incomes. So: latchkey kids raised by divorce. After that, nobody believed in the marriage and kids racket, and the cost of living kept going up. Now we have kids for whom the whole system is blown up from the start, and even two incomes won’t cover basic life. Booze costs too much, and who has help keeping a relationship together? -
