I'm going to defend @wjmaggos and Prof. Loury. They both live in states that were almost certainly going to go for VP Harris. Why shouldn't they vote with their consciences if they believed neither main candidate was fit to serve?

You haven't been clear about whether they were refused entry because of what was on their phones, or because they declined to hand them over.
The former is probably the case. If so, then do you know what was on their phones that led CBP to deny entry? What does it appear CBP was looking for?
