There was a time when this was considered unimaginable, a war crime harkening back to the days of Bomber Harris.
Now it's fine, normalised, nobody cares. A country barely, desperately holding on to defend themselves in a war brought about solely because they desired a more liberal-democratic and lawful state.
Now their people suffer unending terror as the Russian war machine targets civilians in their homes rather than any military target.
I'm once again tooting about how insane it is that this got normalised.
Specifically and explicitly targeting civilian buildings at enormous military expense absent any military rationale whatsoever. This isn't disrupting production or supply lines, nor targeting soldiers or materiel. It's simply terrorising a people they hate — at enormous cost and wasted opportunity, given these are all munitions they're choosing not to use at the front.
