Yesterday former Puerto Rico governor Wanda Vazquez pleaded guilty to campaign finance laws.
Few noteworthy things about her:
Wanda replaced a governor that the people forced to resign due to his overall incompetence among many other things. She was not elected.
She was also the secretary of the Department of Justice. She *was* the personification of protest suppression.

But the cherry on top of it all: Wanda Vazquezβs department used Facebook to gather data on protesters and journalists alike. https://www.todaspr.com/amp/carpeteo-y-criminalizacion-de-la-protesta-legado-de-wanda-vazquez-garced/
This is still a slap on the wrist. But on the land of impunity, even a small glimpse of justice is a water well in the middle of a desert.
