"The Trump administration will move to pull the COVID vaccine off the U.S. market “within months,” one of RFK Jr.’s closest associates has told the Daily Beast.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist who has repeatedly claimed in the face of scientific consensus that the vaccines are more dangerous than the virus, told the Daily Beast that Kennedy’s stance is shared by “influential” members of trump’s family."
Ideology trumps science.

1/nContrary to earlier reporting, the FDA has approved COVID-19 vaccines - from Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax - but with restrictions.
Eligibility:
65+: Yes
Others: At least one high-risk health condition, such as asthma or obesity (+ others)
Children under 5: Not eligible for PfizerModerna's Spikevax vaccine is only approved for children with at least one serious health problem.
It's better than an outright ban, but still based on ideology and pseudo-science.

Adults under 65 now need to prove (presumably by a doctor's note) that they have one of the following medical conditions to qualify for the updated COVID-19 vaccines.
However, some of the conditions are quite common and one or more may apply to most of us. Such as 'inactivity" 🥱

Walgreens requires a prescription for COVID-19 vaccines in AZ, IN, LA, MI, MO, NM, NY, OR, SC, UT, VA, WA, WV and WI.
CVS in AZ, CO, FL, GA, KY, LA, MA, NY, NC, PA, UT, VA, WV and DC. Not avail in MA, NV and NM.
In some states, the law prohibits pharmacists from administering vaccines not recommended by the CDC ACIP panel. The panel won't meet for another 3 weeks.
The CDC site has no info on the new rules; it is policy announcement by Twitter with this regime.
