TIL: In #Linux, when you "switch user" (in Wayland or X11), the second user opens up a separate session which you can directly switch to using the Ctrl-Alt-F-keys without re-authenticating, as long as the user-specific sessions aren't locked.

TIL: In #Linux, when you "switch user" (in Wayland or X11), the second user opens up a separate session which you can directly switch to using the Ctrl-Alt-F-keys without re-authenticating, as long as the user-specific sessions aren't locked.
In Debian 13 #GNOME, the first user session is Ctrl-Alt-F2 and the second user is on Ctrl-Alt-F3.
This way, you can, e.g., separate personal and business setup/user/tasks.
I'm going to invest some effort in setting up my work/personal setup that way.
