I'll agree that Dems are losing because more people are opting out of the mainstream media. But beyond that, it's complicated.

- Too many don't do their civic duty and either ignore or treat issues of public concern like entertainment.

- Social media platforms distract us with junk and misinfo cause it serves their advertisers.

- People recognize that corporate interests dominate the mainstream media and don't want to be lied to.

We need more civic education and everybody on the #SocialWeb.
