I have no real Problem with the “Dark Souls” style combat exploration games, but as I get older I just don’t have time or spoons for maintaining the skill and reaction time it takes to play them well. I often go whole months without time to play a particular game, and parry timing and enemy patterns stuff atrophies.

Yeah, it comes back. But while it does the game feels like WORK. I want my games to be FUN. And those are only fun if you play regularly.
