Thinking about starting a channel on PeerTube called "RPM: Music, Bikes, and Open Source".
I've been kicking around something like this for a while and I've thought about doing some stuff like this on @jjj but it just feels out of place on a @friendsofccmusic channel.
Would anyone be interested in such a thing?
Although RPM is a specific reference, would not be limited to the #redhat ecosystem.

Plz share!
A short thread, I guess.
I've thought about just doing something like "The Dougcast".
Or maybe I could do "The White Male Podcaster Show" and the thing would be that none of my guests would be white males. I recently started listening to a podcast and apparently one of the hosts is a white male because they were joking that of course he was. They are both in Minnesota so I would guess the other guy is too but anyway, if anyone thinks that is a great idea, maybe I could run with it.
TBC...

The problem is though people are going to search by name so having the stuff it is about in the title will be good. I guess if I lined up some really cool guests it could take off but still things get in little bubbles and I just feel like having good search terms is important. Idk, maybe I could do RPM for a while and if people think it is appropriate I could start folding that stuff into @jjj
Nothing is going to happen until October because I've got too much racing this month so some time

I can't tell for sure if this is part of the thread or not...if it isnt I can come back and edit it

Yes, more than four options would be ideal, but here we are

I can't tell who voted, but would like opinions @wjmaggos @bsots @ryno @blocsonic @tmray @Cheesetruck (and anyone else)
I did have another idea for a name concept: The Man Who Refuses to Say Like and Subscribe.
Although, maybe I could just intro @jjj with that. "Welcome to Jibber Jabber Jambalaya, and I'm your host, The Man Who Refuses to Say Like and Subscribe"
I should try it next week with Josh
As always, please boost.

I think what I might do is just tag certain @jjj posts with [RPM] in the title. This could be a format to distinguish any non-meeting videos on the feed as JJJ and then different shows under that distinction

@Cheesetruck would depend who the guest is. I've got a couple of guys I've been trying to get involved for years. It's probably a lost cause. One of the guys was in this band: https://silverbacktrio.bandcamp.com/album/silverback-trio
He's in Iron Maiden cover band.
Both of those guys also work in tech.
I think of them as very different riders but they both dabble in longer distances. Ben had talked about being a co-host @ one point but idk if that is going to happen
I know Josh bikes. Maybe we'll record 2 segments next week

@Cheesetruck is there anything you would be interested in hearing about? A show is nothing without an audience

@musicman I don't know. It is fun when you have a guest on. I usually listen to those while I'm playing a casual video game.
I'll listen to it, if you make an episode.
