@slothrop @thibaultmol I made all my visuals in blue-yellow for a while until I found out that there are more forms of colour-blindness than just red-green. Nowadays if it's something important and intended for a wide audience, I run it through online colour-blindness checking tools.

@OrionKidder @alttexthalloffame The term is "Universal Design" (UD) I work in inclusive education, and we talk about Universal Design for Learning (UDL) all the time in educator training; what's good for one is good for all. Alt-text is an example. Others include curb cuts (mentioned), text messages, electric toothbrushes, ramps... things originally designed for a marginalized community, but that benefit everyone. #Inclusion
