Been using Debian 13 for a few days and I enjoy it so much.
I'm not a power user or anything, but I find my way around. But I've forgotten how good it feels to have a system where I can customize stuff again!

-I'm using KDE Plasma, and its just cool to be able to add my own flavors to everything, little by little.
-Everything just worked, hardware wise, I had no issues. no janky drivers or bluetooth device that wouldn't connect or anything.
-Didn't get it for gaming, but gaming worked as well as I could expect on this hardware. I checked out benchmarks and Elden Ring wouldn't really be running better in Windows anyway.
-And no joke, this was way easier to install and set up than the newest version of Windows! No stupid accounts to set up, no souls to sell. Just had to make that one USB boot drive, but I'll have to do that if I ever install Windows again outside an VM anyway...
For an average user, I honestly can't see much point in Windows anymore and only reasons its still sticking around on my Desktop for now are because of CSP and Nvidia...

    Speaking of Clipstudio Paint:
The Virtual Machine running Windows for this one program, is still fairly slow and I don't know if I can do anything to speed it up. Luckily, CSP itself runs fine, and I'll stress test it soon enough... I'll be joining a 24 hour comic event in less than a month!

@Dadaph I wonder if the CSP developers can be convinced to at least ensure that it runs under Wine or Proton, or assist the Wine developers or Valve in ensuring Wine/Proton support CSP properly

@oblomov I submitted some feedback about wanting a Linux version, and I know I'm not alone considering what Microsoft and Apple are up to.
Can hope they listen if enough people tell them this? Crazier things have happened...

At least I don't need Adobe anymore.
