Getting my head around the idea of "clients" for decentralized media. Like a podcatcher but we need them for other kinds of media too like microblogging, articles, video, music etc. They need to be independent, fully interchangeable and probably FOSS. There should also be a web interface. They should be where search lives and could have ads. They could store some data but it needs to be fully exportable.

#pocketcasts is a great example of this but they don't support the fedi yet. #SocialWeb
