Democracy matters because we're social animals but we disagree on shit. Liberalism matters because compromise takes good information and understanding each other. #DemocracyOfReach matters because politics is downstream of culture, and we don't recognize how much it is dominated not by the best info, ideas and art going viral thanks to our collective free choices but a media distribution structure that lets money determine what we pay attention to.
