It's all of society. The closed platforms are a worse version of corporate mass media, deciding what to push. The algos do that but can also shut down visibility of what they dislike.
And decentralized social media could be the solution to all that, including mass media. Displacing the power of money with a system where only people can decide what info, ideas and art goes viral. lots more is needed but the framework for revolution is here.
