On desktops, I mostly nuked (no dual boot, fuck that) Windows and installed #LinuxMint with Cinnamon.

On this laptop, there is no question I will nuke Win11 too.... BUT! I think I would like to try the XFCE version of Mint. I have used XFCE before (yeeeeears ago), but not with Mint.

Is this advisable, or not? If not why not?

(To be clear, I am only considering Linux Mint versions here, or window managers available in Mint . I am not interested in other distros or if Mint itself is bad)
