Reportedly Netanyahu has has ordered that the gas contract between the government of Israel and the government of Egypt not be renewed for the time being,
which is good because military coup dictator al-Sisi of Egypt should have never accepted funding, whitewashing and aiding Israel's genocidal policies and current genocidal warfare including being one of the two States imposing the illegal siege against the Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip of Palestine, which directly borders Egypt so the siege would have never existed if Egypt hadn't closed their border to starve the Palestinian civilians,
in accordance with the sellout Camp David Accords.

This is probably intended to pressure Egypt to stop refusing to allow the genocidal forced population transfer of the Palestinian People to Egypt,
as well as maybe in response to the more recent clarification of Egypt that moving the Palestinian People to some country in Africa as has been proposed can not be considered as "voluntary.

But still, Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions has been the primary unifying effectively all Palestinians, so for al-Sisi (and also Erdoğan by the way) to even have anything to cancel now, in 2025, is self-evident proof of past shameful stance and action.
