Rom-com flick.@afreytes Serpico retired 2 years after the Knapp Commission. The movie ends with him heading to testify I think.
He did get ambushed and shot in the face but he survived that shit.
So I think that one might be about as close as you get. Dude didn't even stay in the USA, but that's not in the movie either.
