@eniko Exercise caution with these requests for "help me hook up" with a particular group.Black Fedi got nuked by bad faith actors seeking a list of accounts to harass. They drove too many beloved accounts away from the fediverse I recommend asking the people on your list if they wish to be promoted to new accounts in this fashion. Consent is important.

people put hundreds, thousands of hours into block game worlds. entire communities rely on them in the case of multiplayer servers. whatever i use has to be acid compliant so that people don't get screwed over by save corruption cause i decided reinventing the wheel would be a cool project

To be clear I have never in my entire life interacted with Carmen Sandiego media. I only know that she's a badass thief who wears her iconic red hat and trenchcoat from memes. I always just assumed she was at worst an anti-hero

@eniko fediverse.observer and fedidb.com both have stats covering the Fediverse. Values don't necessarily agree due to different filtering and processing, but on first approximation they're pretty close and probably as good a measure as one can get.That being said, Mastodon still remains the most widely adopted platform, so the numbers aren't that much different if one limits themselves to it (the next platform up was something like 1:10 last time I checked).

What worked well when I was working on Shards of Immortality was to have multiple scales of noise. I could do fractal noise for chunk elevation and then interpolate those values between chunks. And fractal noise would let me seed values for certain chunks ahead of time

@bean I had to mute ice and wow does that get a lot of false positives

doing kitsune tails really took a toll on me. not being able to talk about/show stuff because we needed to hold it back as ammo for press moments, not being able to share anything unless it's phrased in the form of a trailer that gets sent to press first. i can't fucking live that way man, so block game, that will just get developed out in the open where everyone can see and follow along
