@stefan if I was AOL back in the day, I would have loved there to be a competitor to HTTP. I would have kept the people building on it well funded for years.
@usefulchickadee @stefan but with the internet, you're not in their state. and we're often not setting up an account or paying them. they should regulate their ISPs to not allow connection to the out of state service etc.
