@tess Mostly is my ability to produce any working sentence in my second language that goes to zero when I am tired (a clear sign I need to close everything and go to sleep is when I start writing English using Italian phonetics).

@tess Cousin's mentor had an Amiga with a huuuuuge screen for desktop publishing. Every now and again it would throw up a tiny message box in the middle of that screen: "Fatal error. What now?" Without any way to dismiss it or indeed do anything except turn off the computer.

@blogdiva to be fair, I think it's a very different movie if it gets made today (and I'm hoping the 2026 sequel will bear this out).I am also 100% sure that if those were two not-white women they would have just asked their aunties to deal with the problem and it would have been an entirely different movie.
